WELCOME TO CWERKS, INC Live theatre where people interAct
|
We do a number of things:
Childrens shows—We have interactive programs and plays, great for school assemblies and libraries. We perform regularly at Northern Lights (see info on right). The plays are great for fairs and festivals, too. We've performed numerous times in the grass (and when the curtains blow down and the sprinklers start up, the shows still go on!). For birthday parties, we have clowns, pirates, princesses, etc.
Murder Mysteries—Our shows are interactive and audience members play parts. All the parts are easy though, not too scary for the person willing to try and a blast for those who are hams (you know who you are). Weve performed in living rooms, cleared workshops, banquet rooms, and outside. We adjust. And just a note: all our shows are G-rated whether or not children are present. (maybe were G+ for mild peril. It is murder, after all).
Singing Telegrams for adults. Its a lot of fun and still G-rated. Singing telegrams are delivered by a character who has information on the recipient from the person ordering up the gram. We sing and talk to the person. Our recipients celebrate all sorts of occasions: birthdays, retirements, weddings (yes, the Queen once visited a reception), anniversaries, Valentines Day, etc., etc. Its three minutes of personal entertainment and fun!
We teach numerous classes in the area, usually for children, sometimes for teachers, mostly through other organizations such as schools and community groups.
